2nd QUARTER 2023 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Brother Felder is a Baton Rouge, LA native who graduated from Southern University Laboratory High School and then matriculated to Alcorn State University. 

While at Alcorn State University, Brother Felder was initiated into the Gamma Pi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi in the Fall of 1985.

Brother Felder interned with the Federal Aviation Administration as an undergraduate which led to a job offer as an Air Traffic Controller upon earning his bachelors degree in Industrial Technology in May of 1989.   

Brother Felder’s FAA career has taken him to Enroute Center (Jacksonville, FL), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (Oklahoma City, OK),  Air Traffic Tower (Jackson, MS), Tracon (Miami, FL)  and retired from the FAA in 2016 after 29 years 7 months of service.

Brother Felder is currently employed by federal contractor Science Applications International Cooperation(SAIC) as Sr. Air Traffic Control Training Analyst and living in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Brother Felder is also a member of Fort Lauderdale Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi where he most recently served as a board member.
