Brother Rodrick Patterson, Spring 2017 initiate of the Gamma Pi Chapter and Gamma Pi Alumni Association (GPAA) Director of Events attended the ASU’s Fall 2023 Commencement to celebrate the achievement of our Fall 2023 graduating brothers of the Gamma Pi Chapter.
While attending the fall commencement, he also donated 13 suits (total value: $1,050.00) to the Office of Career Services and the Professional Development Career Closet there at Alcorn State University.
Brother Patterson, shared with our Gamma Pi followers and supporters, “These suits have served me well during some of my most memorable undergraduate moments. From my first research presentation, first scholarship, first degree’d internship, my first job after graduation and so many more “FIRST” experiences.”
Prior to attending, Brother Patterson contacted the Director of Career Services, Mr. Michael Harper to coordinate such contribution. Keeping his commitment to the ideals and purpose of our fraternity first, and our beloved Gamma Pi Alumni Association commitment to “Paving the way forward but never forgetting to look back.”
