Captain (Dr.) Rodrick Patterson, Jr., a proud alumnus of Alcorn State University, Class of 2017, is honored to announce his official selection for Company Command in the United States Army. This achievement marks a significant milestone in his (12) year military career, symbolizing not just a new title but a deeper commitment to serve and lead with integrity.
Reflecting on this accomplishment, CPT Patterson shares, “This role is more than a title—it’s a calling to serve, lead with humility, and be a vessel of growth and success for those under my command.” With a focus on fostering a culture of servant leadership, Patterson attributes much of his leadership philosophy to the values instilled in him by Alcorn State University.
